he Weathervane Inn, located in the historic town of S. Egremont, Mass. in the Berkshires, started life in 1785 as a farmhouse. Today, the Inn sits on 10 beautifully landscaped acres of gardens and trees that provide a quiet respite from the outside world. The Inn features 13 period-appointed guest rooms, all with private bath and air conditioning, and sitting rooms for reading, playing games and just relaxing. With golf and tennis around the corner, a pool on the premises and numerous, four-season area attractions, visitors are at no loss for things to do or a place to do nothing. Guests are treated to a bountiful country breakfast daily and an afternoon tea featuring homebaked cookies and cakes.
