aley Farm Bed and Breakfast is located in the mountains of Western Maryland near Deep Creek Lake, WISP ski resort and six state parks. The B&B sits on a 65 acre farm with orchards, wildflower meadows, horses and more. We specialize in Romantic Getaways with flowers, champagne, dinner and massage.

The B&B is beautifully decorated with tapestries, antiques and objects from our world travels. The luxury suites have a heart-shaped Jacuzzi, sitting room with fireplace, TV/VCR/CD player, a king or queen bed, and a fully-equipped kitchen. The luxury suites are very popular with honeymooners and guests celebrating special occasions, such as birthdays, anniversaries, or just being together. The mini-suites also have a Jacuzzi and sitting area with fireplace, TV/VCR and CD player but don't have a kitchen. The third type of room we offer are the deluxe rooms with a queen bed and private bathroom. There is a hot tub on the deck for the rooms that don't have private Jacuzzis. All our rooms and suites are air conditioned, and all have robes, slippers and hairdryers. The room rate also includes a wonderful gourmet breakfast with items such as home-made nutbreads, home-made jams, Haley Farm organic honey, souffles, and much more. The blueberry souffle is very popular with our guests. We are happy to accommodate vegetarians.

There is much to do in the Deep Creek Lake area and the B&B is open year round so that you can make the most of the four seasons. In the spring, summer and fall guests may enjoy boating, fishing, swimming, horseback riding, biking, white-water rafting, hiking, and water-skiing. Swallow Falls is the largest waterfall in Maryland and one of the many attractions in the state parks. In the winter the five state parks and WISP ski resort, with its 23 slopes, offer great cross-country and downhill skiing for skiers of all abilities. You can even go cross-country skiing on our farm if you so wish. And after a hard day of skiing what could be better than sipping a glass of mulled wine by the fireplace, and soothing those tired muscles in the Hot Tub or taking a Therapeutic Massage - all available at the B&B. In the fall the autumn colors rival those of New England (and some say surpass). September and October are the best months for viewing the changing of the leaves. The Deep Creek Lake area also has many antique shops and great restaurants. We also offer other specials such as golf, horseback riding, biking, hiking, cooking, and mystery weekends.

Or if you just wanted to relax and re-charge your batteries, the wrap-around porch offers spectacular views of the rolling hills, cornfields, wildflower meadows, horses and orchards. You can even fish in our trout pond (no license required), take our row boat for a paddle, or take a picnic in the gazebo. We also have a giant trampoline, bikes, a go-kart and croquet, horseshoes, hammock and more. In the summer months we usually have an outdoor corn roast on the weekend (with freshly picked corn from our farm) -- there is no charge for these activities. For large groups we offer pig roasts, hayrides, and barn dancing (these are extra).

Our Retreat Center offers many opportunities to learn and grow. We specialize in small retreats and seminars (10-25 persons) and conduct courses in Conflict Resolution, Negotiating Strategies, Leadership, and Team Building. Or you may use our facilities to hold your own business or other retreat.
