The Inn--the oldest house on Deep Creek Lake--dates back to the late 1800's, but underwent extensive restoration in the summer and fall of 1995, making for all the comforts of a fine lodge. Each room has individually controlled heat, telephones with private numbers, private baths, down comforters and down pillows. There are eight guest rooms at the inn, each named for Revolutionary War heroes and Garrett County settlers.

Lake Pointe Inn is air-conditioned throughout and decorated tastefully in the tradition of the Arts and Crafts Style. You can laze by the incredible stone fireplace in the Great Room or read in front of one of the large windows offering lovely views. Take the time to admire the hand crafted mission style furnishings, pottery and ironwork. Unwind in the soothing waters of the outdoor hot tub or the refreshing waters of Deep Creek Lake off the inn's private dock. Or simply rock yourself to sleep in one of the chairs on the wraparound front porch overlooking the lake.

A generous breakfast is served each morning, featuring hot entrees and a continental menu. All Inn guests have complementary use of the inn's bicycles, canoes, kayaks, hot tub and tennis court.
