he Scotlaur Inn is a dream come true for Chick & Ruth Levitt. Chick & Ruth raised their family with Chick and Ruth's Delly and a little rooming house with 12 rooms (and only 2 bathrooms!) above the Delly. One of Chick & Ruth Levitt's many dreams was to establish a Beautiful Historic Bed & Breakfast estate built on it's Histroic Foundation in 1901. However, they never had the resources to make that dream come true. Six months after Ruth passed away in 1986, there was a large fire in the rooming house above Chick & Ruth's Delly. Chick and Ted rebuilt and remodeled the entire upper level to it's current status; and in 1988, the world renowned Scotlaur Inn was opened above the Delly, Named after Chick and Ruth's grandchildren Scott and Lauren. When staying with the Levitt's at the Scotlaur Inn, you're allowing the legacy of Chick and Ruth to live on.
