he Stonebow Inn is a romantic mountain riverside bed and breakfast in western
Maryland, close to Deep Creek Lake, Maryland Scenic Railroad and Amish farm
country. We offer a range of accomodations and styles to suit all needs and
tastes, from Victorian
elegance to rustic chic to European flair. There are nine guest accomodations
in four buildings on site. The Elliott House is a restored 1870 Victorian that
has three rooms and a suite, all double occupancy, as well as a parlor for
all guests to enjoy.
The River House has two suites, one handicapped accessible, one with kitchen, and one room with king-size bed. All have private entrances and river views. Suites can accomodate up to three. The Audubon cottage is a cosy romantic retreat. The Drovers Cottage is a two-story cottage that can accomodate up to six.

Elliott Room
Ground floor room in the Elliott House. Large private bath with shower. Victorian style queen bed. Handicapped accessible.
Grant Tomlinson Room
Second floor room in the Elliott House. Private bath with tub/shower. Victorian style queen bed.
Louisa May Alcott Room
Second floor room in the Elliott House, overlooking the back courtyard. Three large windows. Private bath with tub/shower.
Stanton Suite
On the second floor of the Elliott House. Bedroom has a high four poster mahogany bed and the adjoining sitting room has a river view. Private bath with tub/shower.
Riverview Suite (Handicapped Accessible)
Very large room with private entrance on the upper level of the River House. King bed and sitting area with a pull out sofa bed. Deck and large windows have a river view. Large private bath with shower.
Casselman Room
Cozy room with private entrance on the lower level of the River House. King bed, loveseat and large window facing the river. Private bath with shower.
New England Suite
Suite with private entrance on the lower level of the River House. Full kitchen with eating area, pull out sofa bed, and private bath with shower. Four poster queen bed, and large window facing the river.
Audubon Cottage
Cozy cottage facing the Casselman River with covered porch, gas log fireplace, Victorian style queen bed, rafters in the ceiling and a small refrigerator. Very romantic.
Drovers Cottage
A restored two story wash-house with windows facing the Casselman River; features a large private deck off the main floor sitting room with gas fireplace. Private bath with tub/shower. Downstairs powder room half/bath. Victorian-style queen bed, queen size hide-a-bed and full size hide-a-bed.
Full gourmet breakfasts are served daily.
