Waterloo Country Inn

The luxurious pre-Revolutionary waterfront estate was built by a prominent Somerset County landowner, Henry Waggaman in the eighteenth century. Restoration began in 1995 to the mansion and since 1996 the Waterloo has been an elegant Country Inn. The estate is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

The Waterloo Country Inn is situated on a tidal pond, a paradise for nature lovers, where history is ever present and every sunset a celebration. An outdoor pool, canoes and bicycles give you the opportunity to enjoy the serene, peaceful atmosphere. Stroll through the beautiful gardens and the majestic forest, with a wide variety of trees and shrubs, some of which are rare to the area.

The Waterloo Country Inn features antique furnishings with some Victorian reproductions. The Inn offers two luxury suites with Jacuzzis and four charming rooms, including handicapped accommodations. All rooms are comfortably appointed and offer private bath, TV, telephone, AC and some have jacuzzi and fireplace. A complementary gourmet breakfast is served. An elegant lounge and dining room with fireplaces add to the charm of this already picture-perfect setting.
