Captain Lindsey House Inn

he Captain Lindsey House Inn is a historic, early 19th Century European-style Inn located in the heart of downtown Rockland. Our nine rooms are decorated in a classic style and each room has a private bath, TV, phone, air conditioning, and includes a hearty continental breakfast. Convenient to shops, harbor, festivals and Farnsworth Art Museum.

Meticulous care is evident in each of our spacious rooms, offering modern technological advances without infringing upon the grace of our antique furnishings. Imagine a lovely roadside English Inn, or a Sea Captain's home in the early 1800's, filled with artifacts and furnishings from all parts of the world.

Choose one of rooms to comfortably relax after participating in the Rockland area's many activities. All of our beds have down comforters, and pillows - European style. Rooms with kings, queens, doubles, and singles are available.

Breakfast is served in our sunny Scottish oak paneled breakfast room or if you prefer, en-suite. Afternoon refreshments are available on our lovely private patio or anywhere in the building you prefer.
