Elms is a restored Circa 1806 Colonial which recaptures the rich
heritage of Early America. While The Elms appears to be a stately and
elegant home with original wide pine floors and period furnishings,
you will soon sense a casual warmth reflected by your hosts. Experience
the innkeepers' love for lighthouses and the sea through their extensive
artwork, books and collectibles exhibited throughout the inn. Walk to
harbor, shops, galleries and restaurants or hike the many trails of
Mt. Battie with spectacular views of the Penobscot Bay. Rent bikes,
or sea kayaks or enjoy a leisurely sail on one of Camden's many windjammers.
Take a nature cruise, listen to music in the park or do nothing at all!
Six guestrooms,
all private baths, some with fireplaces include queen and twin accommodations.
Breakfast features freshly prepared and beautifully presented entrees
such as puffed peach pancake or zucchini frittatas accompanied by fresh
fruit cups and home baked treats. Come stay at The Elms and leave with
a feeling of having been to visit friends.
