nce upon a time, there was a country inn conspicious
from all others. After a restoration for your comfort,
this colonial farm created an alternate luxury, the

The original house was constructed in 1763, and the
boards and timbers that remain today are original. The
charm of antiquity and the comforts of today have been

Some guest rooms are more formal with high ceilings
and working, woodburning fireplaces. Others are more
casual with exposed hand hewn beams and a country flavor,
some have their own deck. All guest rooms have private
bath. Room rates include the goat cheese hors d'oeuvre
hour at night and a full breakfast in the morning.
This is a working farm and you are welcome to visit
the animals...goats, horse, chickens, donkeys...all
clean and friendly. You can come when we milk in the
morning (after your breakfast), or at night.
There is a path through the pasture to a salt marsh
where a row boat, dock and screen shed await you pleasure.
