Located in the far southwest corner of Michigan Harbor Country, Rivers Edge is a short drive or train ride from Chicago. The area is unique both in it's lakeside location and it's many special attractions offered in the small communities of Union Pier, New Buffalo, and Lakeside.

A four block walk or a three minute bicycle ride will take you to the beach.

At Rivers Edge we hope the most difficult decision you will have to make is how to spend your day. Imagine beaches that stretch for miles... sand dunes that are like small mountains... clear, blue waters, lakes and rivers for boating, canoeing and fishing. Marked bike trails meander throughout the countryside past local wineries, restaurants antique and specialty shops. Spend the day golfing, horseback riding, charter boating or apple picking. Rivers Edge is located on 30 acres bordering the Galien River. Walk the trails that lead through the woods and along the river bank or stay on the high grounds where apple, peach and chestnut trees are plentiful in the orchard. Rivers Edge furnishings are made by local artisans. Each room has beds and furnishings hand crafted of trees from the local countryside. Whether you pick one of the three rooms that have a separate porch or one of the many rooms that have cathedral ceilings, you will have luxurious surroundings. Rivers Edge is a great place to have your special occasion. Your anniversary, birthday, or retreat with that special person.
