ngels In The Attic is a delightful surprise for your discovery in the charming river town of Hermann, Missouri. Hermann is the western gateway to Missouri's award winning wine country and located on the Missouri River. Whether you arrive by car or Amtrak, our in-town location places you within walking distance of all the sights and activities that Hermann has offered it's visitors every day since it's founding in 1836.
Relax in the shaded courtyard or the grand Front Parlor of our classic Queen Ann home now on the National Register of Historic Places. The home was built by William Klinger in 1878, a time when pretentious homes announced their owner's business success. Sleep in a room lovingly decorated with furnishings of an earlier era. Our antiques have been collected over many years and add their own charm to our individually designed guest rooms. Wake to the heavenly aroma of our private blend coffee and enjoy a cup or two in your room before joining other guests in the front parlor between 8:15 and 10:00 am for a bountiful Midwestern breakfast, which may include an enteé like Lynn's incredible Three Cheese Quiche. After breakfast, explore the Hermann area with 11 award-winning wineries, wonderful antique shops and art galleries, the Missouri River area, Deutscheim State Historic Site and KATY Trail State Park. For dinner, both casual and fine dining are available in Hermann. Ask Lynn to make reservations for you. DISTINCTIVE FEATURES:
