Farm is Western Missouri's ultimate romantic hideaway. Built specifically
to provide a romantic luxury
experience in the kind of seclusion you can find only in the country, we're
one hour and one world away from Kansas City. Set in a 10-acre meadow on our
80 acre National Register Farm, guests have watched deer, wild turkey, coyotes,
hawks, owls and even a bobcat from the glider swing on the porch.
The Cottage features a small refrigerator with ice trays, stocked with sodas,
bottled water and snacks, a coffee maker, clock radios, 
reading
lamps by bed and loveseat, a VCR with romantic tapes, satellite TV, a stereo
unit with radio, tape deck and CD. Special amenities include perfumed candles,
bubble bath, bath salts and a rubber ducky for your romantic visit to the Ultrabath
thermal massage tub, a long stem rose for your special occasion, a hard-back
journal to record your best moments, a single-use 35 mm camera in case a deer
visits the sumac patch outside your window and something special on your anniversary
or honeymoon Breakfast is served hot at your table in the Cottage.
You can expect Sandra's famous Country Casserole (a baked egg dish with lots
of gusto) or Belgian waffles with meat & omelet, homemade biscuits or muffins
with Amish jellies, fresh seasonal fruit, milk & juice (already in the fridge
for your convenience), a choice of cereal, coffee and tea. Your evening snack
may include homemade chocolate roses, nut-breads & cookies, salsa with tortilla
chips, sausage and cheese plate, fresh fruit, soft drinks & bottle water. Daytime
activities include exploring our 80 acre farm or using our local area guide
to find Amish areas, antique stores, the best pies, and local festivals.
