The Inn on Crescent Lake

Only 30 miles from downtown Kansas City, Missouri and Kansas City International Airport, the Inn is perfectly situated for a relaxing weekend getaway as well as provides an excellent lodging alternative for business travelers. The stately three-story 1915 Georgian Colonial mansion sits on 22 acres and is surrounded by two crescent-shaped ponds, known as Crescent Lake. The Inn was meticulously renovated in 1997. While the architectural integrity of the Inn was preserved, all of the rooms were completely modernized.

Unwind in the extraordinary comfort of the solarium or the beautifully appointed living room. Each of the Inn's eight luxurious sleeping rooms and suites contain a collection of antiques and refined furnishings. Each room is decorated with its own charm and personality and features a large private bath, individual temperature control, cable television and elegant toiletries. Indulge yourself in the six-foot whirlpool tub, a standard whirlpool tub or an authentic, old- fashioned claw-footed tub. Outside at the Inn you will find a swimming pool, an exercise room, paddle boats, a bass boat, fishing poles and walking paths.

The Inn's intimate dining room is run by two chefs, graduates of the French Culinary Institute in New York City, and is available to guests for dinner (jackets preferred). The evening meal changes with the season, focusing on the freshest ingredients available, whether found at the local market or flown in from around the country. In addition to being one of the area's most romantic getaway locations, the Inn offers an incredible setting for private parties, weddings, corporate retreats and other special events.
