Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the house has also won The Preservation Society's prestigious "Griffin Award." Our focus is simple: to provide a perfect place for you to celebrate a special occasion, stop off on a business trip, or just relax and regain your energy.

Play chess or piano in the living room. Curl up with a good book in front of our parlor fireplace. Or enjoy a lively conversation on our expansive front porch, verandahs or the outdoor deck. And you won't want to miss a walk through our prizewinning gardens and "green" as it is known in England.

Our eight stylishly-appointed guest rooms and suites are named after parks and gardens in London. Combining the best of yesterday's and today's traditions, each room has a private bath and features canopy-draped queen size beds, hotel quality bedding, antique furnishings, air conditioning, fine towels and soaps, flowers and greenery. Three guest rooms also have working fireplaces. All guest rooms have seasonal air conditioning.

Our charming Eaton Square Carriage House has two separate bedrooms (one king size, one with twin size beds), a full kitchen, living and dining area and a bath. This guest suite is particularly flexible for travelers who prefer a larger space on the ground floor or for friends and families traveling together.

Start each morning with a splendid homemade full breakfast and enjoy it by our dining room fireplace. Hot breads, fruit and specialty entrees such as cheese-filled crepes with kiwi-lemon sauce, Eggs Benedict, or the traditional English breakfast are typical fare. Your Innkeeper is always able to help make restaurant or sight-seeing suggestions. Bicycles are available, and for busy travelers, a fax is available upon request.
