This 1949 family home is located on more than an acre of lawns landscaped with camellias and azaleas. The Inn has been restored and elegantly appointed with antiques and period furnishings, fine china, crystal and linens.

Your return will find your bed turned down and chocolates to welcome sweet dreams! Cozy robes are ready for your relaxation. Awaken to a silver tray of coffee or tea prepared just for you and the morning news at your door. A full southern gourmet breakfast in the dining room may include courses of fresh fruit with poppy seed dressing, warm yam bread, cheese stuffed french toast or luscious eggs benedict to prepare you for a day of golf at any one of a hundred Myrtle Beach courses beginning only four miles from the Inn. Or, choose Waccarnaw Pottery shopping, touring historic Wilmington or strolling Brookgreen Gardens.

Each guest room is individually decorated...one writer commented that "every room looks like those in House Beautiful."

Kate's Room is sunny yellow and has a separate dressing room with private bath. A standard tester bed and P. Kaufman chintz in floral print plus comfortable chair with ottoman make this room a favorite.

 

Rem's Room is palest pink and centered with a queen sized Victorian bed dressed in a white matelasse coverlet and cutwork duvet. The print chintz by I Yang coordinates the bed, bath and dressing rooms.

 

Bob's Room has celery walls and salmon oriental carpet. These colors are restated on the black floral chintz on the standard bed and draped table.

 

Frank's Room is more masculine dressed in a Waverly with tones of green and burgundy and oriental carpet.

The Four Rooster Inn is located at the North Carolina-South Carolina state line, twenty-four miles from North Myrtle Beach.
