Fuquay Mineral Spring Inn & Garden

he Historic Landmark is located in the heart of the Fuquay Springs Historic District. The Colonial Revival Inn was the home of Dr. W.S. Cozart and his wife Pauline and their family. Dr. Cozart was the town's doctor and Mayor of the town for 10 years, and Pauline was one of the community's most avid gardeners. Their home was built to entertain, and many community functions took place here.

The home, now the Fuquay Mineral Spring Inn & Garden, is a great place for relaxing for a weekend retreat or just unwinding in the historic district and old town Fuquay. Weddings, receptions, and special occasions have taken place in this picturesque setting. The gardens of the Inn are very attractive and allow one to enjoy nature at its best. The rooms are named for birds and have a real sense of peace about them. Wildlife pictures are throughout the Inn and give the feeling of a gardener's paradise.

The owners/Innkeepers John and Patty Byrne welcome you to the Inn after two years of detail restoration. John is now the Mayor of Fuquay-Varina, and Patty teachers at Fuquay-Varina High School. John's father Tommy Byrne pitched for the New York Yankees during the Joe DiMaggio/Mickey Mantle era of baseball. The Inn is filled with New York Yankee memorabilia and wildlife art. The spacious Inn has one suite and 3 guest rooms all with private baths. In the common area a refrigerator keeps cold drinks for ones every need. The common rooms are quite large and gracious with extra architectural features. An ole fashioned country breakfast is prepared for each guest or one can have juices, fruits, yogurt, and assorted breads.
