in 1900, has been fully restored to its original charm,
complete with Victorian furnishings and huge porches
where guests relax on wicker and rockers. Seven guest
rooms include twin, double and queen beds, and each
has a private modern bath. A hot full breakfast is served
daily, and guests are invited to join their hosts, Dan
and Nancy Ward, for refreshments each evening. Afternoon
snacks also are provided.
The
inn is convenient to Asheville, UNC-Asheville, Mars
Hill College and the glory nature provides, including
the Blue Ridge Parkway, golf, whitewater sports on the
French Broad River, hiking and skiing at Wolf Laurel.
Biltmore House and Gardens is about 15 minutes away.
Antique shopping in Asheville is about 10 minutes away.
