elcome to the Bed and Breakfast at Laurel Ridge. Conveniently located between the Triangle (Chapel Hill, Raleigh, and Durham) and the Triad (Greensboro, High Point and Winston Salem), Laurel Ridge is an easy escape to the country. If its pottery shopping, furniture hunting, antique browsing, going to the North Carolina Zoo, or just relaxing, a rewarding stay awaits you.

We offer three quest rooms in our distinct post and beam home. A separate cottage with a screened porch sits adjacent facing the forest and the Rocky River. Every room has a private bath with the suite and cottage having its own large Jacuzzi. Book the entire house and cottage for a wedding, family reunion, executive retreat, or just a group of friends getting together.

Many guest comment that they have finally forgotten the outside world when they come down the long wooded drive to Laurel Ridge. We are located on 26 acres that is bordered by the Rocky River. A walking trail through the forest will take you to the river. The gazebo, nestled amongst the mountain laurel, is a perfect getaway all to itself or a superb place for a massage. A massage can be arranged by contacting the Inn.

The large perennial garden is an ideal setting for an outdoor wedding. Please contact the Inn for more information about weddings. Just beyond is a meadow where deer are often seen grazing in the early morning or evening hours.

Breakfast, a full and flavorful culinary experience is served on the area's exceptional pottery. David, an award-winning chef, brings his expertise to the breakfast table. Breakfasts change with the seasons and may include pumpkin basil pancakes, eggs benedict, huevoes rancheros, crispy waffles with a warm fresh fruit compote, juices and our locally roasted coffee that is robust and ground fresh for each pot.
