elcome
to the Waverly Inn where personal service helps to set us apart
and being in the mountains helps to keep us there. Our area offers breathtaking
scenery year around, temperate climates, cultural pursuits and hospitality
as it was meant to be. Recently renovated and listed in the National
Register of Historic Places, The Waverly Inn is Hendersonville's oldest
inn. Cited in national publications such as The New York Times
and Southern Living, The Waverly received high praise in Vogue
Magazine for its "massive Southern breakfast."
Join us for one of our evening social hours, a time set aside for you
to enjoy a favorite beverage and hors d'oeuvres. Or, try our fresh baked
cookies anytime! At the Waverly Inn, we want to make everyone feel welcome
and right at home.
We offer fourteen unique guest rooms and one suite named for wildflowers
native to the area. Every room has its own private bath. Four poster
canopy beds, brass beds, clawfooted bathtubs, a room with a sun porch,
and turn-of-the-century pedestal sinks are just some of the special
items that await you. A full breakfast is served that always includes
fresh fruit, stone ground grits, eggs, cereal, French toast or pancakes,
homemade jams, and preserves, fresh coffee, orange juice, and much more.
You will also find a wide variety of complimentary refreshments, and
rocking chairs galore. Come sit on our veranda and watch the world go
by. When you are ready to venture out, we can help with your itinerary-Restaurants,
horseback riding, golf, tickets and tour routes to name a few.

atmosphere. The restaurants are wonderful, and the shopping is nothing
short of superb. Whether you are looking for antiques, mountain crafts,
