The Wicklow Inn

Built in 1947 on the banks of the rushing Rocky Broad River in the Blue Ridge Mountains, The Wicklow Inn is a wonderful combination of an elegant Inn and a casual bed & breakfast. Innkeepers Sharon Ryan of Natchez, Mississippi and Jack Ryan, who was born near the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland, enjoy serving breakfast in the dining room or on decks overlooking the river.

The Inn is a 3-story Colonial with five guestrooms and one suite, most with views of river and Chimney Rock. Three rooms have private, outside entrances with decks overlooking the Rocky Broad River. Large king suite with claw-footed tub for special occasions.

The Wicklow Inn is two blocks from the entrance to Chimney Rock Park in Chimney Rock Village and less than one mile from beautiful Lake Lure. Only 22 miles from Asheville, the Biltmore Estate and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The inn is surrounded by the natural beauty of soft forested mountains and the crystal clear Rocky Broad River.
