Lake Inn is a circa 1760 white colonial house situated on 168 acres,
eight acres which are lakefront, overlooking lovely Lake Massasecum and
splendid  mountain
peaks. A sandy beach on Lake Massasecum is inviting for sunning, swimming,
fishing, but guests often prefer to take out the canoe and the rowboat
or ice skate and snowmobile on the lake in the winter. There are picnic
tables and grills for you to barbecue lunch or dinner. About fifty yards
from the Inn is a waterfall for you to enjoy the splendor of the view.
Throughout the property are logging trails that one can spend an entire
day hiking and snowshoeing. The local snowmobile club has a trail on the
 property
that connects Bradford and Henniker. You can travel to most of the surrounding
towns via these trails. We are located minutes from Mount Sunapee and
Pat's Peak Ski Resorts, golf courses, antiques and Lake Sunapee.
Enjoy the wall
coverings in the guest greeting area of Currier and Ives prints while
you relax by the fireplace. Breakfast is served in the dining room with
plenty of coffee or tea, fresh fruits, and sweet breads with a different
hot dish offered each morning, while taking pleasure from the vintage
wood-burning stove.
