Nestlenook Farm on the River, our Victorian Bed & Breakfast, is one of the oldest residences in Jackson Village built circa 1790. The Inn's seven guest Nestlenook Farm Resort rooms at the Inn are named in honor of a famous local artist and their rare works compliment your decor. With unyielding attention to detail, each room is exquisitely decorated and each has its own private bathroom with a two person jacuzzi. Some rooms have hand-carved four poster canopy beds, authentic 18th century parlor stoves, fireplaces, balconies and hardwood floors. Guests staying at the Inn can relax by the fire in our historic Dinsmore Room featuring an original hand built stone fireplace, hand-hewn beams and hardwood floor. Each morning you will enjoy a three-course full country breakfast in our elegant Dining Room featuring a Count Rumford Fireplace, original tin ceiling, hand carved woodwork and antique birdcage. Make yourself at home in our Guest Kitchen where you can indulge in a delicious snack of fresh baked cookies and muffins, and help yourself to a Nestlenook Farm Resort selection of herbal teas, juices, and sodas. Mingle with other guests in the Parlor, featuring an 18th century parlor stove, original tin ceiling and exquisite antique furnishings, while enjoying our nightly Hospitality Hour. Explore our Recreational Room for a game of pool on an antique billiards table, throw tournament darts or watch one of our CD laser disk movies on the big screen TV with six-speaker surround sound. Relax with a cup of tea on our screened in veranda, settling in to comfortable furniture allowing the serene natural beauty engulf you. You will certainly be pampered by our attentive staff, assisting you with restaurant reservations, directions, and other requests. Nestlenook Farm on the River is primarily a couples only getaway, but we doNestlenook Farm Resort welcome children over 12 years of age. To ensure all our guests enjoy the fresh mountain air, our inn is a totally smoke-free environment, with daily maid service provided and a "goodies" basket replenished as well.

Set upon a knoll, the former site of a 19th century art community, the villas at Victorian Village overlook the serene natural beauty of the Nestlenook Farm Estate and the surrounding mountains. Victorian Village was designed and furnished with all the elegance of the Nestlenook Farm Resort Victorian era, as well as all the modern luxuries. The two floors of the villa feature our Romantic Penthouse and our Elegant Master Suite. The Romantic Penthouse is the top floor of the villa and has cathedral ceilings, a king size four poster canopy bed, a CD stereo to play your favorite music, and a gas log fireplace accented in gold and granite. The bathroom will feature an exceptional two-person spa that has 20 jets, a waterfall and mood lighting. The kitchenette has a microwave, coffee maker and mini-refrigerator. Just off the bedroom, you have a private screened-in balcony to enjoy the majesty of your surroundings. The Elegant Nestlenook Farm Resort Master Suite has a bedroom with a king size bed and a TV, a bathroom with a two person spa, kitchenette with granite counter tops, microwave, coffee maker and mini-refrigerator, a dining nook and a living room. The living room has a gas log fireplace accented in gold & granite, big screen TV, VCR, CD stereo, desk, and a sleep sofa. You can enjoy the view and fresh air on the patio off the living room or in the screened-in terrace. These accommodations can be reserved separately or together as a two bedroom villa. As with the inn, Victorian Village is primarily a couples only getaway, but we do welcome children over 12 years of age. Victorian Village is a smoke-free environment.

Nestlenook Farm Resort offers year round recreation to our guests. In spring, summer and fall, venture outside into our serene, award winning gardens on the cobblestone & brick walkways, Nestlenook Farm Resort relax in our Lakeside Gazebo and day dream of an era gone by, mountain bike the trails along the rushing cold water of the Ellis River, follow our hiking trails to the granite ledges offering a breathtaking panorama of estate, or stroll across our arched bridge to visit the European Fallow Deer in Emerald Forest. Enjoy the serenity of Emerald Lake as you glide through the water in one of our rowboats, or try your hand at fly-fishing. Truly you will escape back in time on a nostalgic horse- drawn surrey carriage ride. Other area activities include hiking up Mount Washington, the surrounding mountains and short hikes, canoeing down any one of the many rivers in Mount Washington Valley, or visit some of the White Mountain Attractions close by.

Following the magical splendor of autumn foliage, as the last leaves fall and a delicate dance of snowflakes begins, Nestlenook is transformed into a Currier & Ives Winter Wonderland. Sleigh bells ring out as the horse-drawn Austrian sleighs pass by. Sit by one of the many crackling bonfires or warm up inside our Lakeside Gazebo in front of the Count Rumford fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate. Emerald Lake provides one of the most exceptional outdoor skating facilities in New England and by snowshoes, our trails become a peaceful winter retreat. All skate and snowshoe equipment are provided for our guests. Other area activities include cross country skiing on Jackson Ski Touring's 150 kilometers of tracked and groomed trails, Alpine skiing at several mountains close by and don't forget North Conway's tax-free outlet shopping.
