Chateau Inn

Built in 1888, the Chateau has undergone recent renovations which recreate the Inn's turn-of-the-century grandeur while at the same time modernizing those services and amenities required by the sophisticated traveler. Visitors to the Chateau are met by an intimate European style lobby graced with handsome architectural detailing, seasonal fresh flowers and when the evenings turn cool, a crackling fireplace.

Nestled between two parks and overlooking the lake, most of the Chateauís thirty-nine guest rooms, suites and parlors are entered on the ground floor level. Each accommodation is individually decorated in Schumacher fabrics and prints and offers the personal convenience of marble bathrooms, air conditioning, refrigerator, color cable TV, VCRs, AM-FM radio and two telephones with data ports.

The luxury suites and parlors feature wood burning fireplaces, wet bars, Casablanca paddle fans and marble bathrooms with soaking tubs for two. Balconies, private porches and patios provide scenic views of the lake and parks. Continental breakfast is offered daily. Additionally, Chateau guests receive complimentary beach and tennis passes and a scenic tour of Spring Lake aboard the Spring Lake Trolley.

The Chateau is Spring Lake's only recipient of both the American Automobile Association (AAA) three-diamond rating and the prestigious Mobil Travel Guide three-star award.
