Decorated in a country
style (bright, comfortable, and squeaky clean), each room is different
and has a personality of its own, some with stenciling and quilts, some
with flowered wallpaper and lace curtains. There are six guest rooms
gracing the manor, three of which have a private bath.
On the main floor
of Villa Park House is the sitting room with wing-back chairs and classical
music to calm your day. Bring your favorite book, needlework or crossword
puzzle, even medical journals. If you must, grading papers and necessary
work can be done, but only in short spurts. If you prefer peace and
quiet, that's okay; naps are allowed and certainly encouraged.
