The
rooms on the second floor are all named for the previous owners, the
Springers, O'Malleys, Quintanas and Andersons. More usually referred
to by their color, the Springer room (Blue) has a queen bed and private
bathroom and is elegantly decorated with maroon and paisley prints.
The O'Malley room (Pink) is a great favorite with the ladies. A bouquet
of rose, pink, white and cream, this room has a wonderful window seat
overlooking a 100 year old mulberry tree. This room also has a queen
bed and private bathroom. The With over 900 buildings on the National Historic Register Las Vegas is a veritable outdoor museum. Just 62 miles north east of Santa Fe it is an ideal location to explore the Northern part of New Mexico. Taos is 75 miles north and the drive there is one of the most spectacular in the Southwest. Hiking, fishing birding, trail riding and skiing are but minutes away. By 1835 Las Vegas was a major port of entry for supply trains arriving on the Santa Fe Trail and the ruts of this famous trail are still visible just outside the town. Fort Union, Pecos National Monument and The Rough Rider Museum, are all short drives away. Las Vegas may be the last undiscovered jewel of New Mexico, visit this intriguing city where relaxation is mandatory. DISTINCTIVE FEATURES
