The Dancing Bear Bed and Breakfast is a four-season retreat offering guests a comfortable, quiet place to get away. The house features a spectacular fire-placed living room with cathedral windows that look out over the Jemez River. Four large guest rooms feature comfortable furnishings with wonderful views, fireplace and private baths. Handcrafted art is displayed throughout. Hundred-year-old cottonwood trees surround the house and shade a lovely patio picnic area by the river.

Our guests are invited to share the charm of our home and make themselves cozy by the log fire while looking out at the Jemez River and the spectacular mesa backdrop beyond. Enjoy our great room by watching wildlife through our two story cathedral windows that overlook the Jemez River. Each of our four guest rooms have a TV/VCR and private bath. We supply bathrobes, snacks, non-alcoholic drinks and a homey atmosphere.

For breakfast one can anticipate French toast made with Indian oven bread, home-made muffins and a variety of culinary surprises. Special dietary needs are never a problem.

The surrounding area offers bountiful fishing, hiking trails, authentic pueblos and striking mesas and valleys. There are shops, galleries and restaraunts nearby that cater to visitors. There are also several churches and religious centers in the valley as well as a historic Native American pueblo and many other historical sites of interest.
