Inn At Lake Joseph

ucked high in the Catskill Mountains, just two hours from New York City, is a romantic, 140-year-old Victorian Country Estate on a 250-acre private lake, surrounded by acres of hardwood forest and wildlife preserve. The Inn at Lake Joseph provides a variety of summer and winter recreational facilities, including the use of our nearby full-service health and fitness club. Breakfast is served on the enclosed screened and glassed in veranda, allowing you to enjoy the sounds and feel of the outdoors, no matter what the season.

The estate consists of three distinct dwellings — The Inn, The Carriage House and The Cottage. The Inn's guest rooms, with fireplaces and whirlpool baths, have Victorian four-poster canopy or sleigh beds, as well as regional antiques and fine reproductions. The turn of the century Adirondack Lodge Carriage House guestooms, where pets are welcome, have their own private entrances. Most have lofted cathedral wood beamed ceilings, private sun decks, fireplaces and whirlpool baths, and some have full kitchens. The Cottage, our most secluded dwelling, contains three rustic yet comfortable accommodations and was designed and built almost entirely of Hemlock, cut from the surrounding forest.
