Bed and Breakfast Inns of North America he Landmark Inn is a charming nineteenth century bed and breakfast, located in the heart of historic Cooperstown, NY. Guests at this classic 1856 mansion relax in nine unique room settings, which combine old-world luxury with modern amenities.

Guests are welcomed with friendly, personal attention by innkeepers Bob and Linda Schuermann. As longtime Cooperstown residents, they offer their expertise in planning activities, giving directions to area attractions, and making reservations at local restaurants and events.

LOCATION: Situated on two acres in the center of the village, the Landmark Inn offers a convenient, comfortable home for guests enjoying a memorable family vacation, a successful business gathering, an exploration of the Leatherstocking Region, a reunion with friends and family, or a visit to the Baseball Hall of Fame, Glimmerglass Opera, The Fenimore Art Museum, or The Farmers Museum.

Given its central location, the Landmark Inn is within easy walking distance of many of the areas historic sites, museums, churches, shops, and restaurants. Nestled on the southern point of beautiful Lake Otsego, the picturesque village of Cooperstown invites visitors to discover its rich history, natural splendor, and friendly charm.

ROOMS: Each of the nine rooms or suites at the Landmark Inn are complete with a private bath, cable TV, a small refrigerator, and air conditioning. Guests enjoy a full gourmet breakfast each morning in one of the two gracious dining areas. The innkeepers are happy to accommodate special dietary needs, if requests are made at the time of reservation. In addition, the inn has plenty of off-street parking.

Rooms may include a queen, king or twin beds. There are two Family Suites with two bedrooms and one full bath in each suite. Two rooms have private entrances and share a deck overlooking a spacious back yard. One room is handicap-accessible by ramp and includes a fully handicap-accessible bathroom.

The Landmark Inn is a smoke-free Bed and Breakfast, and pets cannot be accommodated. Children welcome. Reservations require a deposit equal to one nights stay; credit card deposits will be processed at the time of reservation. Final payment may be made by credit card, check, or cash. Weekends during the months of May through October require a two night minimum stay. Seasonal rates available. The Landmark Inn requires seven days notice of cancellation to obtain a refund, less a $20 processing fee. If cancellation is made within less than seven days, deposits will be refunded, less the processing fee, if the room(s) can be rebooked.
