Point Lookout Mountain Inn is a full service country inn. The guest
rooms are located on the top floor of the Inn, an area that is quiet
and private. All rooms have private baths, color television and beautiful
views. From the windows of the Valley View rooms, the panorama stretches
for 180 miles to the peaks of the White Mountains of New Hampshire,
making sunrise, moonrise and sunset wonderous sights to behold. Our
"Raid the  Refrigerator"
breakfast is very popular, allowing guests to have a delicious first
meal at their own convenience. And, our guest rooms have just been redecorated
creating a warmer, more comfortable "home away from home"
for overnight visitors. We even accept pets under certain preset conditions.
The Cliffside Cafe & Outdoor Deck is the most popular spot for al
fresco dining in the northern Catskills. A perfect place to stop for
lunch, brunch, espresso, dessert and homemade ice creams, the cafe boasts
a large raised deck overlooking spectacular views and beautiful gardens,
as well as indoor seating with views.
Dinner is served in The Victorian Rose Restaurant in the evening. This
elegant dining room overlooks panoramic views second to none in the
Hudson Valley. The wrap around deck affords wonderous,
unobstructed viewing of colorful sunsets and moonrises. Exciting new
menus are created with each new season, inspired by traditional Mediterranean
cuisine. New American dishes also are featured, with dishes from Cajun
Country and the American Southwest, added to spice things up. Menu choices
range from fresh pastas, hand cut steaks and creative seafood dishes
to a full range of vegetarian and vegan selections. Wines are personally
selected by the Innkeepers to compliment the menu.
The Tap Room at the Inn has a welcoming atmosphere for the diverse clientele
at the Inn. With over 35 varieties of beer, fine varietal wines by the
glass, espresso, cappuccino, granita and all natural nonalcoholic choices,
it's apparent why so many visitors stop here for a refreshment break!
