he Seasons house
has an interesting historical evolution. Built c.1830, this Italian-villa style
residence has expanded and transformed over the years. The house is listed on
the National Register of Historic Places as well as the New York State Office
of Parks, 
Recreation
and Historic Preservation. The house is situated at the top of a small hill
away from the street and mostly surrounded by a dense landscape of trees and
evergreens. During the warm months, relax on the wrap-around porch while taking
in the fresh air and sounds of nature. Converse with others or 
enjoy
solitude. Take an afternoon break and enjoy a refreshing tea. A must to experience
in order to appreciate.
The interior elegantly reflects both the age and evolution of this home. The
house has gone through an extensive renovation, each room has been totally refurbished.
All rooms are furnished with select antique and contemporary pieces that compliment
and contrast old with new. This decor has 
been
accumulated over years of travel throughout the world. As a result, each room
offers its own unique charm.
A full breakfast is served in a relaxed, yet elegant environment between 8:00
and 9:30am. Coffee and juice are available at 7:00am.
Depending on your tastes, you could enjoy The Lake George Opera, Saratoga Performing
Arts Center, Chapman Museum, Adirondack Museum, Hyde Collection, Fort Ticonderoga,
Fort William Henry, or Fort Crown Point. And those are just a few suggestions!
Other activities include antiquing, some of the countries best golfing, horseback
riding, and hiking.
If you are staying during the autumn months, the Glens Falls Balloon festival
is fun to experience. In addition, in the brilliant fall foliage of the Adirondacks
is definitely something to behold.
The area has something for everyone!
