Located in an older, quiet neighborhood just a block and a half from the University of Oregon and minutes away from downtown Eugene, we are the ideal home away from home for the University visitor, vacationer, or business traveler.

Hand-laid stone encircles the garden. A gracious welcome in our Great Room, decorated in Queen Anne. Coffee on the terrace. Delightful surprises at every turn, antiques from Europe, art from Asia. Ten charming rooms to choose from, each with a garden-inspired theme. Sumptuous handpicked fabrics. Imaginative decor. Everything's been thought of, down to bed warmers for comfort. Music if you wish. A breakfast chosen from among the Inn Keeper's repertoire. A book from the browsing library, read on the Sun Porch. A moment in the garden. A stroll along the birch-lined streets.

Awaken to a room full of light. Then begin your day with a leisurely breakfast and a complimentary paper in the dining room. Here on business? Arrange for an early continental breakfast before your morning meeting. You'll find plenty of space to work in your room or one of our four public rooms.

Relax, stretch out, and explore the treasures of the Inn and garden. Sculpture, art, photos, inscribed poems and antiques are tucked away everywhere. It's up to you to find them. Help yourself to tea or coffee anytime in Daphne, our second story sitting room. (And meet thispeaceful room's namesake.) Chat with the Inn Keeper about your day. You'll find maps and menus from local restaurants,event schedules-everything you'll need to plan an adventure. When you return, the Great Room is waiting with comfortable chairs and couches for reading, gettogethers or all-important dozing. You'll find fire in the evening, and a baby grand piano(if you play, please do).

All our rooms at the Secret Garden Bed and Breakfast have private baths with combination tubs and showers, TV/VCRs, small refrigerators, telephones and music by choice. We invite you to select from among the ten theme rooms offered, each imaginatively designed and decorated by the Inn Keeper to make your stay a fanciful one.
