he Candlelight Inn B&B is
conveniently located in the heart of Lancaster County. Surrounded by Amish farmland,
this large country home offers
an elegant, relaxing retreat for its guests.
The Inn was purchased and renovated in 1994 by Heidi and Tim Soberick, who still
maintain their careers as professional classical musicians. Their ability to
entertain carries over into their choice to become innkeepers as they set the
stage for a delightful visit with Victorian antiques, fresh flowers, candlelit
breakfasts, and soft music in sun-filled rooms.
Each of the Inn's 7 air-conditioned rooms has a private bathroom and is named
with a term from the classical music world. The 
rooms
are individually decorated with elegant Victorian antiques, queen or king size
antique or canopy beds, fluffy towels and robes, complimentary liqueur, and
luxurious bedding. Room choices include the options of suites, fireplaces, and
Jacuzzis. Guests have full use of the large parlor with its cozy fireplace and
oriental rugs, or can relax on the porch and enjoy the view of the lovely gardens
and neighboring Amish farms. In the late afternoon, homemade cookies and beverages
are available for guests to enjoy.
Breakfast at the Candlelight Inn is always a special occasion. Included is freshly
brewed coffee or tea, juice, homemade muffins or coffee cake, and a chef's choice
of entree. Some of our guests' favorite main courses include Cr¸me Carmel French
Toast, Belgium waffles with a raspberry and Grand Marnier sauce, and a baked
cheese omelet with asparagus and fresh dill.
The Candlelight Inn Bed and Breakfast is minutes away from many Pennsylvania
Dutch attractions. Whether you want your visit to include a trip to a local
quilt maker, a dinner with an Amish family, or any of the other Lancaster County
highlights, we would be happy to help you choose from the wide variety of activities
available.

For the comfort of all of our guests, no smoking or pets are allowed on the premises. We allow well-behaved children over the age of 8. Reservations can be guaranteed with a deposit of one night's lodging or by credit card. Cancellations made at least 7 days prior to reservation date will be refunded. Cancellations made less than 7 days before reservation date will be refunded only if the room is refilled, less a $10 service fee. Gift Certificates are available. Gift Certificates are available.
