1/2 mile down a country lane in Lycoming County, North Central Pennsylvania.
It is the perfect retreat for nature lovers and couples seeking privacy. Rustic
on the outside, but warm and
cozy
on the inside, this cottage will charm you.
This quiet cottage on
our peaceful country lane has it all. Complete privacy, a king bedroom, skylights,
kitchen with eating area and view. WiFi, TV, DVD. A huge private 
deck
overlooks the stream and valley. Country breakfast is served in the owner's
house dining room, 105' away. $150/night.
There is also a second king bed "Log Cottage" made of authentic hand-hewn
logs, available at $120 per night. We also offer 2 queen bedrooms sharing a large
bathroom and whirlpool tub in the owner's home. Owner's house has similar amenities
as the cottage. Rooms are $100 each/night.
Scenic drives and walks are plentiful for those longing to experience
a day in the country. There is a lovely walk/ski trail along our creek just
behind the cottage. The creek is only about 150' away so you can stroll along
the creek and enjoy the water. Some of the spectacular sights on your way here
are the colorful Mountain Laurel in June and the fall foliage in
October.
A covered bridge is within walking distance, a one-room school house is only
a short three mile drive. Ricketts Glen State Park has 21 magnificent waterfalls
and is just a half hour drive. Or ride the Hiawatha replica riverboat in
Williamsport, a half hour away.
There are canoes and kayaks for rent and use on the Susquehanna River just 15 minutes from your cottage. Bucknell University is 45 minutes, Bloomsburg University is 35 minutes, Lycoming College and Penn College are 30 minutes. Within an hour are downhill ski mountains, Pioneer Coal Mine tunnel tour and numerous museums offering insight into our heritage.
