Bed and Breakfast Inns of North Americaome partake of the Strasburg experience. We have trains--ride the Strasburg Railroad, visit the National Toy Train Museum, spend a few hours1786 The Limestone Inn lost in the Pennsylvania Railroad Museum. Take in a show-- one mile to the Sight and Sound Millennium Theater, two miles to the Living Waters Theater, three miles to the American Music Theater. Stroll our historic sidewalks--ice cream at The Creamery, coffee at Meranda Zug's, sweets of all kinds at Simmon's Bakery, dinner and a drink at The Iron Horse Inn, a candlelight ghost tour from Mrs. Penn's Shop.

Trains, shows, strolls--definitely life in the slow lane. Whether your choice is the Strasburg Railroad, one of the shows at Sight and Sound or 1786 The Limestone Innthe American Music Theaters, or a relaxing drink at the Iron Horse we offer it all in the historic surroundings of The Limestone Inn!

The Jacob Pfoutz Room has queen-sized accommodations, a private bath with shower and an in-room fireplace for those chilly fall and winter evenings.

The Headmaster Room has a queen-sized Cherry Poster bed (with requisite stool to get in and out) and features a newly renovated full in-room bath with double-slipper claw foot tub and tiled shower. This room is large enough to add a twin bed for extra sleeping space..

Doc Tinney's Room is our largest room with a queen-sized, turn-of-the-century oak with walnut inlay bedroom set with a Dutch flavor. This room has a fireplace and a full, private bath across the hallway recently renovated with a claw-foot tub, old-fashioned high cistern and Singer sewing machine sink.

The Tower Room features a full-sized antique oak sleigh bed, an all-season fireplace and a wonderful nighttime view of the tower in the center of Strasburg. A private bath down the hall may be reserved for your visit. Oh--one more thing. Low ceilings so if you are over 6 foot check out the 2nd floor rooms.

The Dormitory is fitted with two twin-beds, or a king-sized, great for folks needing some extra space. This is the Ozzie and Harriet room! One of the "sun-bonnet girls" quilts in this room was done in the early 1900's and the other was done 15 years ago to match. Likewise, a private bath down the hall can be reserved for your use. And--Low ceiling!

The Center Room has an Eastlake style, full-sized, high back bed and matching dresser and some of the floor boards are over 25 inches wide!!! Private bath? Down the hall….. Yup--low ceiling.
