New Hope, Peddler's Village, Doylestown and the scenic Delaware River,
the Maplewood Farm is gentle country living. Wander around and
relax in the calm...our home provides you a refuge in historic Bucks
County, PA an area which lies between two colonial metropolises: Philadelphia
and New York City.
Guests of our 18th
century farmhouse enjoy pastoral views of sheep grazing in the pastures,
while our free-range chickens are busy providing eggs for a completely
satisfying, hearty breakfast. Guestrooms are clean and comfortable all
having private bath and air-conditioning. There is a wood burning stove
in the living room to warm you on those cold winter nights, and a sparkling
in-ground swimming pool for cooling you off on those hot lazy days of
summer.
Published recommendations
to our home include:
The Washington Post: "Bed and
REALLY BIG breakfast...a breakfast that is so bountiful..."
Philadelphia Magazine: "...decorated with tasteful
restraint; gorgeous flower beds in the barely-there village of Gardenville."
Bon Appetit: "Best of the Year,
1993"
Glamour Magazine: "Where's
a Nearby Charming Country Inn?"

calls in Winter...we enjoyed our visit at a homey 18th century farmhouse:
the Maplewood Farm."
