Stone Ridge Farm Bed & Breakfast

he Stone Ridge Farm Bed & Breakfast is situated on a 10-acre horse farm in an authentic 1818 historic barn, a scenic setting for a romantic retreat. Each bedroom has a queen bed, private bath, and air conditioning. Some rooms open onto a large deck that overlooks the horses in the pastures or have private decks or patios. There is a two-room cottage with whirlpool duo tub, air conditioning and private patio and garden area. All rooms are available with two beds.

The perfect romantic getaway or location for a corporate retreat. The inn, is near Doylestown, Peddler's Village, New Hope, Frenchtown, NJ, and Pearl S. Buck International (located between Peace Valley Lake and Lake Nockamixon). Enjoy art museums, antiquing, galleries, historical attractions and fine dining. The inn is four miles from Doylestown. The National Geographic's (June 2000) Guide to Small Town Escapes rates Doylestown as one of the nation's top places to visit for a weekend escape. Doylestown is also listed in the top Dozen Destinations of Distinction by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

Eight guest rooms are available at the Barn, offering a nice respite from everyday living. Each room is decorated with antiques and all have private baths with shower. Four of the rooms have cathedral ceilings with fans, queen beds and a twin bed, and have access to a deck that overlooks the horse pastures. The Milkhouse Suite has a duo whirlpool tub and a private patio that opens to the garden. The Milk Parlor Suite has a Kitchenette, Whirlpool Tub, and Private Deck overlooking the horse pastures and pool. The pool is also available for guest use from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

In the morning wake to the whinny of the horses outside your room and to a delicious homemade breakfast served in the old barn. Our breakfast feature is our "Hay Baler's Breakfast" which consists of bacon or sausage, farm fresh eggs, potatoes, and homemade breads. Other entrees include pancakes, waffles, and quiche.
