Watch Box Hollow is a peaceful, private hideaway nestled among the oaks and pines of the Tuscarora Mountains. The Late 1800's atmosphere is romantic, soothing and colorful. Relax among period décor and leave the rest of the world behind in an elegant Bed and Breakfast. Large suites include a Queen size bed, sitting room and spacious private bath. Our 30' Country Kitchen with gray stone hearth sets the stage for an intriguing tour. Sun light dances around the Sunroom with full glass walls jutting out into the majestic forest. Located just 3 miles off Route 322 halfway between Harrisburg and State College.

A full country breakfast is always included. Our guests enjoy our ham steak and egg breakfast with homemade bread and fresh fruit. Another favorite is stuffed French toast and sausage with fresh fruit.

We can arrange a moonlit carriage ride, a scenic airplane tour over Pennsylvania's mountains and farms, a trail ride on horse back or a canoe float trip on the Juniata River. Bring your mountain bike or hike the old mining trails on the Tuscarora Mountain. Weather you come to explore or just to relax we have something for everyone. The bed and breakfast is named after the hollow located in the nearby State Forest. A watch box is an old railroad term used to describe a look out post for manually signaling the trains. The Tuscarora Indians gave their name meaning "real people" to the Tuscarora Mountains.
