 rookside Manor is a meticulously
and beautifully restored colonial manor house with five uniquely decorated
guest accommodations set on eight acres of gardens complete with brook
and pond.
Brookside is centrally air-conditioned and also offers fireplaces in
each room. Antique filled public rooms include the library and dining
room as well as a formal parlor and the "Keeping Room" which houses
the original walk-in fireplace dating back to 1690. Terraces overlooking
the gardens and brook are perfect for relaxing.
 We
offer a full gourmet breakfast along with afternoon tea. Dinner is available
upon request. Complimentary soft drinks, wine and port are also provided.
We are near the exquisite Rhode Island beaches, URI, Newport, Mystic,
Connecticut and Providence, home of Brown University. Antique shops,
fine restaurants, museums and quaint New England villages are also nearby.
Nature preserves, hiking trails and bike paths are within minutes of
