The Inn at Shadow Lawn

This 142 year old victorian mansion has eight guest rooms, which are charmingly appointed. Each room has a private bathroom with a tub/shower, television with cable and vcr, air conditioning, fireplaces, climate controlled rooms, small refrigerator' with two splits of complimentary wine, private telephone lines. A choice of beds is also available: kings, queens, and a room with two twins. Extra twin size beds can be placed into the rooms for an extra fee. Each room is 18x20 or larger, and some even with optional kitchens for longer visits.

We also have three large common areas: the library, the dinning room and our just restored ballroom are open to everyone and each has something special about it. For example in our library you'll find some port or sherry. These rooms can also be used for functions such as parties and weddings. In our dinning room you'll enjoy your complimentary full breakfast. Outside you'll enjoy the front verandah to talk or have some refreshments. Or stroll along our over two acres of rolling lawns and gardens.

We are located right on the border of Newport and Middletown, making our home a very quiet yet convenient spot to stay. You are only five minutes from all the action of Newport, but you won't have to deal with the noise and traffic. The minute you walk through the doors, it's like walking back in time.
