Evins Mill also offers a textured history. Our Gristmill, built in 1939 by State Senator Edgar Evins, is one of only a handful in the state still operable. Today, the mill is home to grinding exhibitions and a modern conference center. Our Main Lodge, built the same year, was a family retreat for Edgar's son, U.S. Congressman Joe Evins. With poplar floors, cedar porches, fieldstone fireplaces, and a cozy ambiance, the lodge is home to The Millstone Restaurant and southern gourmet cuisine. Most of our fourteen guest rooms are in three award-winning cottages, adjacent to the Main Lodge and perched on a bluff overlooking Fall Creek. B&B packages feature a variety of themes, including romantic getaways, mysteries, massage therapy, culinary lessons, and holidays. We also host weddings, receptions, and rehearsal dinners, as well as corporate retreats and other special events. DISTINCTIVE FEATURES
