and Shreveport, Louisiana. In this unique Bed & Breakfast, you and your guests
can
get away from city congestion, visit the historic areas and antique shops of
East Texas, go gaming in fun-filled Bossier City, or just enjoy the wildlife
habitat and the quiet. Yet for all its luxury, the ambiance radiates warmth
and hominess.
Built in 1913 and lavishly restored and decorated, this 5,000
square-foot showplace on two floors features 5 palatial-size bedrooms, two
with large private sitting
rooms, 3 baths, 3 wood-burning fireplaces, 10-foot ceilings and gleaming original
oak floors throughout. Upstairs there is also a cozy, old-fashioned "sleeping
porch" for those balmy evenings.
The large formal dining room will seat you and your guests in elegant dining comfort. A very large den, located next to the efficient kitchen and done in authentic southwestern motif, encourages you to relax and take your shoes off. The palace-size living area features a formal fireplace and multiple conversation areas.

Adjacent to the patio is a secluded hot-tub, with Jacuzzi, on a raised, new planked
deck. You can soak and relax as you gaze at the stars through the trees while
you
enjoy soft classical music in the background. Further back is a beautiful adult
swimming pool surrounded by a landscaped garden with fountain and gold
fish pond. All are enclosed by greenery and an antique wrought-iron fence for
your back yard privacy. If you desire a secluded sanctuary from the fast paced,
busy world you live in, this is a dream come true. The property is set on one
acre of land surrounded by towering pine and pecan trees, and is landscaped
with azaleas that stop traffic each spring.
As a special opportunity, the owner offers you an opportunity to purchase some of her many unique Objets d'Art, rare china pieces, teapots and porcelain, paintings and the like. These have been collected over many years of worldwide travel. Many are one-of-a-kind and are impossible to duplicate. All are of the finest quality and taste.

The Sam Houston Room
This elegant downstairs bedroom and sitting room, with private entrance and with private bath, features an early 1900's four poster bed and dresser. You can have your breakfast in the privacy of your own sitting room, while enjoying the beauty of historic East Main through European lace curtains. Perhaps a late night fire in your own cozy fireplace, after a soak in the hot tub, is your idea of luxury. This three room suite with private bath and private entrance is $135 per night, with a 2 night minimum.
The Ice Cream Parlor
A lovely, relaxing pastel room with white washed hardwood floors, with antique curved bed and wicker chaise, is a perfect retreat to relax and enjoy the beauty of historic East Main in Henderson. In addition to an antique double bed, the bedroom has an old fashioned, comfortable twin bed (which also makes into a king size for two). Windows and French door overlook the balcony and tall pines. You can even have your morning tea and coffee in your rocking chair on the expansive balcony. A lovely two room shared bath, complete with large tub, oversized shower and European bidet, is just steps down the hall. This bedroom is $100 per night, with a 2 night minimum.
The E. F. Crim Room
The son of Elias Fleming Crim, Sr, builder of the 1913 Heritage House of Henderson, was actually born in this beautiful canopied room, overlooking historic East Main. The plantation style queen-size canopy rice bed, with your choice of goose down comforter or electric blanket, is furnished with elegant raw silk, luxurious duvet and fine linens. You will feel like Rhett and Scarlett in this magnificent room furnished with mirrored authentic French armoire and French marble bed table. You will even have your own desk for work or study. An elegant shared bath with soaking tub, oversized shower and bidet are just steps away. This elegant room, complete with French and American antiques, is $125 per night, with a 2 night minimum.
Room With a View
A lovely bedroom with its' own private breakfast room and screened in sun porch, overlooks the beautiful pool and backyard nature habitat. Whether you want to take a lazy afternoon nap, read and relax on the sun porch, or take a dip in the pool, this retreat is perfect for one, or a couple. The bedroom has an antique, ornate white carved queen size bed, love seat and work center where you can hook up your laptop. A lovely two room carpeted shared bath is just steps away, where you can treat yourself to a bubble bath in the large soaking tub, or enjoy the oversized shower. The toilet room even has an antique bidet from Europe. This two room suite with work center is $125 per night, with a 2 night minimum.
At the Heritage House of Henderson, a Texas Main Street City,
you will be warmly greeted with refreshments on your arrival, and can relax
to lovely classical
music in the Tea Room while you 
enjoy your favorite pot of tea or cold
glass of lemonade. A soak in the hot tub, or late night dip in the refreshing
pool,
will relax you and put you in the mood for a peaceful night's sleep in
this elegant "Gone With the Wind" estate.
A delicious full Southern breakfast or a heart-healthy choice is available from 7:30am to 10:00am. Because your enjoyment and comfort is our top priority, you can even order a "to go" picnic lunch for the next day. If you are lucky enough to be in residence for Saturday High Tea from 3 to 5pm, complete with English Scones with cream and jam, you will leave with beautiful memories and plans for many happy returns.
Hardwood floors throughout the estate, air conditioning, turn down service if desired, art collections, silver, crystal and candles, and more...you will be treated elegantly and with respect for your privacy. Massage, manicure, pedicure and facial will be arranged to pamper you completely, if requested.

The Heritage House of Henderson is a non-smoking bed
and breakfast,
and is not well suited for children or pets. Although the Heritage
House does not accept pets,
we do have a miniature Schnauzer, Pfeffer Jane,
well trained and exceptionally sweet.
