f you need to get away from it all, you've found the place. The Hideaway Cabins offer complete privacy at a secluded country retreat. Five cozy cabins lie hidden among the oaks, surrounded by 155 acres of peace and quiet, just a short drive from Dallas/Ft. Worth. Each cabin features a private hot tub, along
with all the comforts of home: a kitchen with all you need, from the coffeepot to the microwave; cooking and dining utensils, linens, Satellite TV/DVD, charcoal grills, and other accessories, yours to enjoy in air-conditioned comfort. Within 30 minutes you can be in a good restaurant or a cozy club. Or shopping for antiques, hiking in a state park, boating on a lake, enjoying an outdoor play or concert, or staring a giraffe in the face. That's right: a giraffe. Nationally-known Fossil Rim 
Wildlife Center is nearly next door, and there' s plenty more to do besides. Historic Granbury, charming Glen Rose, Dinosaur Valley State Park, Squaw Creek Reservoir, Lake Granbury, Squaw Valley Golf Course, Texas Amphitheater, and lots more are all just a short drive away. Most people prefer just to stay at The Hideaway, though, and enjoy the countryside. Fish in the ponds, swim and sun at our Cowboy Pool, hike in the woods, stargaze from your hot tub, or just enjoy watching our herd of Texas Longhorns and paint horses. We also provide horseback rides, chuckwagon dinners and wagon rides.
The Hideaway Cabins are ideal for small families or small groups of friends, but they were designed with couples in mind. The intimate, rustic atmosphere is perfect for your special celebration. Breakfast baskets are also available.
ACCOMMODATIONS
The Frontier Cabin is a charming one room, Colorado lodgepole pine hideout surrounded by oak trees. Recently redesigned with couples in mind, it is our most secluded cabin; perfect for intimate occasions.
The Lineshack, built of pine and spruce logs, sleeps four and features a bedroom with queen bed and a living area with a futon. Full carpeting and central heat and air appeal to those who prefer a more modern look.
Up to six guests can enjoy The Lonestar. The bedroom features a queensize, and the roomy loft has a beautiful view. A fireplace warms the living area, which opens onto your private outdoor deck and hot tub. The bath has both tub and shower.
The Chateau is a cottage designed especially for romantic interludes. For couples only, perfect for honeymoon or anniversary. It's one large room with king bed, a cozy fireplace, and spectacular view. Intimate decor features a bath with large corner shower and patio with hot tub.
The Cabana sleeps up to four adults and two children in its two bedrooms - one with queen bed and one with double bed and bunk beds.
The Hacienda and The Yellastone are our newest cabins. Both offer incredible views and perfect seclusion.
