The 18 X 40 foot swimming pool and large whirlpool spa are set in beautifully landscaped gardens. Ancient magnolia, cypress and pecan trees grace the grounds.

Each spacious bedroom has private, en-suite bath, (two with Jacuzzis,) King or Queen beds, TV/VCR, ceiling fans, cozy robes, many antiques and family heirlooms,as well as a collection of "things" gathered throughout Ben Jack's 30-year career as a naval aviator.

Conveniently located on an acre estate only four blocks from the center of downtown New Braunfels, Karbach Haus is an easy walk to a superb variety of restaurants, historic museums and local attractions. The house is tree miles from the Gruene Historic District and 28 miles from downtown San Antonio. Visitors to New Braunfels will find a wealth of activities including tubing or rafting on the Comal or Guadalupe Rivers, FUN at Landa Park or the Schlitterbahn Water Park, Natural Bridge Caverns, the Smithsonian affiliated Museum of Art and Music, or shopping at the many antique stores or the discount shopping mall, all only minutes away from Karbach Haus.

Breakfast at Karbach Haus is a memorable event! Pampered guests will enjoy a seated, multi-course breakfast, reminiscent of a German-style brunch, served family style either in the formal dining room or in the adjacent sun parlor.
