Welcome to Roses & The River -- a special brand of R&R nestled along the banks of the San Bernard River, surrounded by the fragrance from our abundant rose garden. Long verandas, furnished with comfortable rockers and overhead fans, beckon you to sit and relax. A delicious country breakfast, prepared by your hosts, will be served daily.

The three guest rooms upstairs each have queen sized beds and their own private baths. Named after a favorite rose, each room has its own distinctive personality. New Dawn welcomes the first light of day on the river and is beautifully appointed in the blush tones of this highly-rated climbing rose. Rise 'n Shine, a bright yellow miniature rose, was inspiration for the color used predominatantly in this room which look out over the San Bernard. Rainbow's End is a jeweled-toned rose and so the third bedroom sparkles with colors reflecting the rainbow of hues seen in the garden below. Both bedroom and bathroom window seats provide nooks for reading or daydreaming. Featured in thie private bath is the claw-footed spa tub which must be seen to be believed and used to be appreciated.

Though it is far from the hustle of the city, Roses & The River is close to several nearby cities and is within an hour's drive of Houston and Galveston. We invite you to visit us because....you deserve a little R&R!
