uby's Roost is a quaint 1890's three room farm house on the South side of Fredericksburg, six blocks from Fredericksburg's main shopping district. The home is furnished in an Eclectic Country style -- reminding what it was like when it was built. The Master Bedroom has an original German immigrant's trunk at the foot of the King-sized bed, and a Television sits atop an antique ice box.

The "Second" bedroom is tastefully decorated, doubles as a reading room, and has it's own door exiting onto the East porch. It has a Full sized bed, a day bed, a recliner with footstool and it's own Television set.

The bath is decorated in a grape arbor design, and has a tub with hand-held shower. The linens are "line-dried" and starched for that fresh, Country feeling.

The "Country Kitchen" has a refrigerator, and microwave (and a sleeper sofa), but no working stove. There is also a telephone in the kitchen. The East Porch has a swing while the West porch has a patio table. Both are accessible through the kitchen. Off street parking is also provided.

Smoking is not permitted inside, but is permitted on the porches. Well behaved children are welcome. Pets are not welcome unless kept in a carrier, if kept inside. There are no outside accommodations for pets.
