Bed and Breakfast Inns of North Americaunique Victorian Carpenter Gothic villa (born in 1780 and completed in 1853) in a little railroad town just west of scenic Goshen Pass on the western edge of the Shenandoah Valley, in a small triangle defined by historic Lexington, Staunton, and Warm Springs/Hot Springs. Enjoy country hospitality in our historic home with modern comforts. Five generously-sized guest rooms and ample common areas including a large fireplaced living room, a solarium, a rustic den, and a large dining room. Wrap-around verandas on the first and second floors overlook perennial gardens, leading down to a deck and the old livery stable overlooking a trout stream.

The inn has a long history of hospitality, hosting such celebrities as Eleanor Roosevelt and Efraim Zimbalist, Sr., as well as passengers from the trains that used to stop in Goshen. In fact, the inn was named after the Hummingbird passenger train, and we can almost guarantee you'll see a train pass in front of the inn during your stay. We also host ruby-throated hummingbirds during the summer, and you'll enjoy watching their antics from the verandas where they'll come quite close to you to visit the feeders. We'd love to welcome you to our home for a relaxing stay. Come and see why our guests return time and again.
