Inn at Blush Hill

he Inn at Blush Hill, a restored Cape Cod, built in 1790, has five private bath rooms, and features wide plank pine floors, four fireplaces, featherbeds, and down comforters and lots of common space for the guests to relax outside their guest rooms. There you will find a television, with VCR, a selection of movies, a CD player, games, books and magazines. We have an unobstructed view of the Worcester Mountain Range with five acres of rolling countryside and gardens. A full country breakfast is served, which may feature Ben & Jerry's ice cream atop such delights as French Toast topped with fresh strawberries and Vermont maple syrup. Afternoon snacks and evening refreshments are also provided.

Each of our guests rooms is individually decorated in its own style. One has a fabulous view of the mountains through a 15-foot wide picture window, along with a canopy bed. You can lay in bed and watch the sunrise over the mountain in the morning. Another room feathers a Jacuzzi bathtub while yet another a c.1790 fireplace, perfect to cozy up in front of. In the summer, relax on the front porch or by the garden and enjoy the splendid view of the mountains.

While in the Waterbury area, you'll want to tour the Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Factory, now ranked the #1 tourist attraction in Vermont! You can indulge yourself as you tour up Route 100 towards Stowe (only 10 minutes away) by stopping by Cold Hollow Cider Mill, Cabot Creamery, the Green Mountain Chocolate Factory as well as Green Mountain Coffee Roasters.

The famous Shelburne Museum and the Vermont Teddy Bear Factory are only 30 minutes away. Browse in our many antique stores. In winter, downhill skiing is nearby at Stowe, Sugarbush, Bolton Valley or Mad River Glen, and we offer discounts on lift tickets to our guests. Cross-country skiing is abundant and you can snowshoe from our door. Enjoy a sunset sleigh ride in nearby Stowe.
