Inn at Buck Hollow Farm is an intimate, family-run, New England
country inn. Nestled on 400 spectacular acres just 30 minutes from vibrant
Burlington, the Inn is truly a four-season retreat. Visit the inn and
enjoy its canopy
beds, heated pool, and antique shop.
Whether you decide
to walk our wooded trails, cuddle a spring lamb, listen to a brook,
or simply sit by the heated pool and watch the birds, we believe you
will appreciate the special country atmosphere of spring and summer
in this northern Vermont location.
Come fall, the foliage
is nothing less than awe-inspiring, especially from horse-drawn wagons
on back country roads. After a day of hiking, biking, or walking, you
may decide to sit before the fire in the sunroom, browse through the
antique shop, or simply enjoy the sounds of migrating geese from the
decks.
Winter offers miles
of cross country skiing right on our property with major ski areas less
than 30 minutes away.
You may also want to watch the production of maple syrup in our sugar
house and taste the results on your pancakes the next morning. A glass
of wine, a crackling fire, and a friendly cat welcome you back at the
end of the day.
The Inn itself
occupies a renovated 1790's carriage house with most of the original
beams left exposed. Each room is individually decorated with antiques,
a queen-sized canopy bed, quilts, and a color TV. Guests are encouraged
to use the two-person jacuzzi.
A full Vermont
country breakfast is served in the sunroom. Beer, wine, and soft drinks
are always available.
Children are welcome
at the Inn and will enjoy the fenced-in play area and complementary
pony rides. Laundry services are available. We strive to meet any special
diets or needs.
Our inn is uniquely
designed and equipped to handle small meetings and seminars as well
as outdoor receptions. A fax machine, Macintosh computer, and copier
are available at no charge.
The Inn at Buck
Hollow Farm ... guests arrive offering handshakes and leave offering
hugs. Our guests promote us better than we ever could.
