elcome
to the Hermitage Inn, a family run operation since 1971. Nestled
in the Green Mountains, we are conveniently located just over the Massachusetts/New
Hampshire/New
York border. Only two hours from Hartford, four hours from New York, three
hours from Boston and five hours from Montreal. All fifteen rooms have
working fireplaces, private bath, TV/VCR and telephones. Rates include
a full continental dinner with choices, and full breakfast. We have been
awarded the Grand Award from the Wine Spectator every year since
1984, and have a 2,000 label wine list with a 35-40,000 bottle stock.
Dine amongst the largest hanging collection of art from Michel Delacroix,
sporting art and antique and decorative decoys.
The Mount Snow area
can boast just about every sport there is including our 10 field sporting
clay course, release pheasant hunts, fly fishing, smowmobiling, snowshoeing
and ski touring, plus a host of things to do such as the Marlboro Music
Festival, shopping, antiquing, gallery tours, ice fishing, llama trekking,
craft fairs, art shows, apple picking, or just plain hanging out!
Every season has
its own special quality - the snow in Winter, the green and beautiful
gardens of summer, maple syrup in the Spring, and who hasn't heard of
our spectacular foliage in the Fall? See it all from ski lifts, hay
wagons, horse and buggy, snow shoes, skinny skis, snow mobiles, on foot
or mountain bike. Come watch the festivities during the Winter at Mount
Snow where there are always competitions and events such as the X Games
2001, or the Mountain Bike Championships, the chili cook-off, or beer
fest in the summer.
Weddings and meetings
are our specialty. Year after year the same groups book our Inn for
their management meetings and dinners. We love to plan different events
such as wine tastings or wine dinners, boat rides, off site events,
and tours of the area. It's our attention to their needs along with
our great cuisine and wine list that keeps them coming back. We have
a beautiful setting for weddings plus we are located three miles from
the main road. Many quality references available.
