Nestled in the historic Champlain
Valley, almost within cannon range of Fort Ticonderoga lies
Indian Trail Farm, built-in
1830. For years our family has enjoyed it
for its spectacular lake views and quiet country setting. In the
fall, the trees blaze with color and the smells and sounds of the
apple harvest are in the air. In winter, we enjoy cross-country
skiing through the sleeping orchards and alpine skiing in the
nearby Green Mountains. Springtime brings a riot of apple and
lilac blossoms, while summer means poolside barbecues with
garden-fresh tomatoes and corn. We still travel far and wide to
return to our farm whenever we can where we enjoy May's delicious
homecooking and the warmth and beauty found in every room of her
home.
